Dispatch #2: Stickers, Sheds, and Sea-Level Shenanigans

The Everglade Crew has officially landed. Check out the video here:

The Captain's birthday bash on Planet Sand wasn’t just a celebration—it was a convergence of off-grid ideals, recycled dreams, and sticker diplomacy. The Everglade tender ran up on the beach, the crew disembarked, and Scott led a tour that was part TED Talk, part tree fort improv.

Inside the Garden Shed Tree Fort (GSTF), Scott unveiled his latest manifesto: saving the world through recycling, funded entirely by Maniac Men subscriber revenue. The stakes? Planet Sand sits just 8 feet above sea level. The solution? A million billion dollars and a freezer full of Everglade stickers.

Guests swapped stories, admired the sticker install, and tried to decode the elusive “Maniac Men style”—a blend of Maine grit, creative chaos, and a healthy dose of “Crazy.” Some had even read the Portland Press Herald article that sparked the journey.

The Captain of the Everglade, ever the legend, soaked it all in. His yacht may be 117 feet of polished legacy, but his heart’s clearly anchored in the sand.
